Hut with pen · 1:20 scale

The shelter and the pen, the heart of the scene

In nativity scene tradition the hut is never just a shelter: it is the point where the whole scene converges, the place around which shepherds, animals and travelers gather. This Standard Hut combines the main structure with a side pen designed to house the animals, offering in a single element both the shelter and the space to enrich the setting with details of rural life.

The 36x18x25 cm measurements and the 1:20 scale make it suitable for compositions using Compact 8, Standard 10 and Standard 11 statues, ensuring a good balance of proportions between the structure and the figures that populate it.

Material and workmanship

Made of wood and hand-painted, the hut retains in its natural finish that artisanal character that has always distinguished the work of the Garfagna masters: each piece is born from the manual working of wood, with hand-applied paint that enhances the grain and gives depth to the details of the structure and the pen.

Where to place it and how to combine it

Being designed for the Standard line, it works well as a central element or as a secondary setting alongside the Nativity, to be placed next to other huts and structures of the same scale to compose a coherent village. The pen allows for the inclusion of farmyard or grazing animals, completing the scene with a touch of everyday life.
