Practical Guide

When looking for a 210 cm Christmas tree, people are already clear about one thing: height. But between snowy, slim, with built-in lights and Real Touch, the variables are many. This guide goes through them one by one, with available models and a precise selection criteria for each situation.

Why 210 cm is the most popular size

Christmas Tree Fir Everest Total Real Touch 210 cm Moranduzzo

Spruce Everest Total Real Touch – 100% PE leaves that mimic natural conifers to the touch. Moranduzzo’s flagship line for maximum realism.

The rule of thumb for choosing the height of an artificial tree is simple: the tree should be 75-80% of the ceiling height. In a home with standard 270-280 cm ceilings, a 210 cm tree occupies the space in a balanced way, leaving 60-70 cm free for the tip-which adds another 15-20 cm-without ever touching the ceiling.

It is no coincidence that 210 cm is the most searched size on Google when it comes to artificial Christmas trees. It is the size of the Italian living room: tall enough to fill the room, restrained enough not to oppress the environment.

Height rule

Ceiling 270 cm → tree max 210 cm. Ceiling 300 cm → tree max 240 cm. Ceiling 240 cm → tree max 180 cm. Always remember to add 15-20 cm for the tip when calculating the available space.

Snowy Christmas tree 210 cm

L’210 cm snow-covered Christmas tree is the choice of those who want to recreate the atmosphere of the alpine forest in December. The white-treated branch tips catch the light of the decorations in a different way than a classic green: the golden orbs shine brighter, the white lights reflect with an almost luminous effect.

Moranduzzo offers in size 210 cm theSnowy Crystal Fir H210: 142 cm diameter, thick foliage with well-distributed branches, snow-colored tips that simulate the natural frost of alpine conifers. At 142 cm in diameter, it is one of the trees with the widest canopy in the 210 cm range-ideal for open halls, foyers or dining rooms where space is not in short supply.

Moranduzzo’s snow treatment does not crumble or stain decorations or fabrics-it is the same formula used on display trees in luxury flagship stores.

210 cm slim tree – for narrow spaces

Slim Christmas Tree 210 cm Spruce Monte Cimone Moranduzzo

Spruce Monte Cimone Slim Green H210 – 78 cm diameter profile. The solution for hallways, corners and narrow spaces.

The size 210 cm slim tree was created to solve a concrete problem: bringing a tall, dramatic tree into hallways, corners, alcoves, and homes with little free space. The narrow profile – under 90 cm in diameter – allows it to be placed next to a bookcase, in front of a window or in the entryway without blocking the passage.

Moranduzzo offers two 210-cm slim versions:

L’Monte Cimone Slim Green Spruce H210 is only 78 cm in diameter with a classic, saturated green color. The branches develop mostly vertically, giving a slender profile that reminds many of Tuscan cypress trees in a Christmas version. It is the choice for those who prefer a traditional look without snow effects.

L’Snowy Slim Mount Cimone Fir H210 has the same narrow profile (78 cm) but with white tips as the snowy version. For those with limited space but don’t want to give up the winter atmosphere.

Christmas tree with built-in lights 210 cm

L’210-cm Christmas tree with built-in lights solves the problem that anyone who has set up a tree at least once knows: the tangled light chains, the bulbs that burn out by turning off half the string, the wire sticking out of the branches in the wrong place.

In Moranduzzo trees with pre-installed lights, the LED chains are wired inside the supporting structure-invisible from the outside. You open the branches, plug in, and the tree is already lit. No wires to manage, no spirals to wind in January.

The top model is theEverest Real Touch Fir with Built-in Lights H210: Real Touch technology on the leaves (see next section), LED lights already integrated into the structure, 137 cm diameter. It is the 210 cm tree that combines the ultimate in visual realism with the ultimate in set-up convenience.

Why choose built-in lights

No chains to wind. No burned-out bulbs that extinguish half a string. No wires sticking out of branches. Setup time reduced to 15-20 minutes. Even faster disassembly.

Real Touch Christmas Tree 210 cm

Real Touch technology is the highest level of the Moranduzzo range. The branches are made from a special compound that replicates the texture of natural conifer leaves: soft to the touch, with visible veins and color gradient from dark green at the base to light green at the tips. At close range it is difficult to distinguish them from real leaves.

This is no minor aesthetic detail: it is the same technology Moranduzzo uses for supplies to Argenplast, the group’s laboratory that produces decorations for Dior and Gucci.

In the 210 cm size, the Real Touch range offers two main models:

L’Spruce Everest Total Real Touch H210 (137 cm in diameter) is the classic without built-in lights, designed for those who prefer to choose color and type of light chains year by year. The “Total” in the name indicates that Real Touch technology is applied to all branches-not just the visible outer ones, but to the entire structure.

L’Real Touch H210 Tesino High Spruce (142 cm in diameter) has a slightly fuller, rounder crown than Everest. The profile is less conical and more rounded-suitable for those who want a particularly rich and dense-looking tree.

Classic green tree 210 cm

For those who prefer tradition without snow effects and Real Touch technology, the line Classic Green Christmas Trees offers 210 cm models with saturated green PVC leaves-the same formula Moranduzzo has been using since 1946. L’High Tesino Fir H210 (142 cm diameter) is the benchmark model: classic cone-shaped crown, traditional green color, sturdy structure with low weight. The tree from those who do not want aesthetic compromises-just the shape of fir in its authentic green.

Frequently asked questions

How much space does a 210 cm tree take up?

Classic and Real Touch 210 cm models have a diameter of 137-142 cm. Consider at least 30-40 cm free around the tree to decorate it and circulate around it: basically, plan for a floor space of at least 200×200 cm. If space is tight, the 210 cm slim models are only 78 cm in diameter.

Is a 210 cm tree suitable for 250 cm ceilings?

With the ferrule, a 210 cm tree reaches about 225-230 cm. With 250 cm ceilings, 20-25 cm of space remains above the toeboard – sufficient but not abundant. The rule of the pros: leave at least 30 cm between the ferrule and the ceiling. If you want more airiness, consider the 180 cm model.

Snowy or classic green?

The snowy tree catches the light better than gold and white decorations, creating a brighter effect. Classic green goes better with red and multicolored decorations with a more traditional look. Moranduzzo snow treatment does not crumble or stain decorations or fabrics.

How long does it take to assemble a 210 cm tree?

The supporting structure is assembled in 10-15 minutes. Branches are opened manually one by one: for a 210 cm the time is about 30-45 minutes. Models with built-in lights eliminate the lighting pass-through, saving another 30-60 minutes of work.

Are the materials fire retardant?

Yes. All Moranduzzo artificial trees are made from fire retardant materials certified according to European standards. The PVC used is flame retardant: in case of contact with a flame, it does not spread fire. Moranduzzo was among the first Italian manufacturers to certify its products with the IMQ mark, back in the 1980s.

What is Real Touch technology?

Real Touch is a special compound applied to the leaves that replicates the texture of natural conifer leaves: soft to the touch, with visible veins and shaded color. In “Total Real Touch” models, the technology is applied to all branches, not just the outer ones. It is the same technology used by Argenplast-the Moranduzzo Group’s laboratory-for supplies to Dior and Gucci.

Moranduzzo has been manufacturing artificial Christmas trees in Florence since 1946. The first tree with curved leaves that mimic natural conifers is a 1978 Moranduzzo patent.
