The process: from Dior sketchbook to finished product

The production process follows the typical chain of bespoke luxury. Dior provides original technical drawings – sketches of the star ferrule and Avenue Montaigne facade. Argenplast develops the prototype: CNC milling for the precision template, then the electroplating process with 24-karat gold plating on ultra-light galvanized resin.

The material – galvanized resin – is the same technology that Argenplast has been using for decades for its products: as light as plastic, as solid as metal, and able to withstand gold plating without sagging over time.
